Another T.U.F.F. Black Friday, Pt. 5

From where we last left off, Louis and his fellow heroes were practicing for Black Friday, D.O.O.M. was formulating their shoplifting plans and Whitnee's evil twin sister Yami recently broke out of prison.  Now let's see where the story shall go from here.


It was Thanksgiving in Petropolis.  Many families spent the day watching a parade, football and eating Thanksgiving dinner together.  Louis enjoyed a helping of turkey, corn, carrots, corn bread, biscuits and pumpkin pie before he took a nap to prepare for his mission that night.  At 8:00 pm, Louis met up with Dudley Puppy and Kitty Katswell at T.U.F.F. HQ.

Louis: "Good evening, T.U.F.F. agents! Might I also add happy Thanksgiving."

Dudley: "Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Louis."

Kitty: "Happy Thanksgiving."

Shortly afterward, Whitnee Squirrel arrived with Team Shinobi to wish Louis, Dudley and Kitty a happy Thanksgiving.

Louis: "If we leave for the mall now, we can still get in during the Dark Thursday hours."


The eight heroes left for the mall.  Meanwhile, D.O.O.M., Katty Katswell and Yami Squirrel arrived sneaked into the mall quietly so nobody (not even security) would hear them.

Yami: "Follow me.  Those T.U.F.F. agents will never see us!"

Katty: "We should be able to pull this off flawlessly."

Snaptrap: "I hope this plan doesn't backfire again like it did last year."

Francisco: "Boss, aren't you worried about those T.U.F.F. agents spotting us again?"

Snaptrap: "Not a chance.  Besides, what could possibly go wrong?"



When Louis and his fellow heroes arrived at the mall, it was 9:00.  Louis, Dudley, Kitty, Whitnee, Hayai, Shaun, Mackey and Shizu walked up to the mall's main entrance and lined up.

Louis: "This is it, folks.  Just like we rehearsed."

Kitty: "As soon as enter the mall, we'll all split up into our designated groups."

The eight heroes entered the mall and split up into groups.  Louis paired with Hayai, Dudley paired with Shaun, Kitty paired with Whitnee and Mackey paired with Shizu.  Outside, the parking lot began filling up with cars and trucks.

Louis: "We're all going to search different sections of the mall for D.O.O.M. and any other shoplifters.  If you're having any problems, just call my cell.  Do any of you have a cell phone or a smart phone?"

Several heroes pulled smart phones out of their pockets.  Louis gave his cell number to all of the heroes who had phones.

Louis: "All right, gang.  Let's split up!"


Meanwhile, D.O.O.M. was trying to steal items from an apparel shop.  They stole t-shirts, pants and even jackets just to name some.

Snaptrap: "So far, so good.  Any sign of T.U.F.F. agents?"

Francisco peaked out of the apparel shop for a split second.

Francisco: "No sign of 'em, boss."

Larry: "We'll hear from them soon."

Snaptrap: "Larry, do you want the plan to backfire again?!"

Larry: "No, I don't."

Snaptrap: "Thought so."



Meanwhile, Louis and Hayai were walking through the mall.

Louis: "Those villains could pop up any time now, so we better stay on our toes."

Hayai: "Right, you never know when we'll have a run-in with them."


Over in another section of the mall, Kitty and Whitnee were looking around looking for any sign of villains.

Whitnee: "See any shoplifters, Kitty?"

Kitty: "Nope, don't see any."


Meanwhile, Dudley and Shaun were looking for shoplifters.

Dudley: "Shaun, we need to keep our guards up."

Shaun: "I see some beautiful ladies at 9:00."

Dudley slapped himself in the face.

Dudley: "Shaun, if you weren't my cousin, I'd probably drag you by the ear across the mall."

Shaun: "Dudley, can't you just let me introduce myself to those ladies?"

Dudley: "We can focus on that later.  But for now, we have to search for D.O.O.M."

Shaun: "Fine."


In another section of the mall, Mackey and Shizu were on high alert for shoplifters as well.

Shizu: "I don't see villains here.  How about you, Mackey?"

Mackey: "Not a single peep.  If they pop up, we better be ready to strike."

Shizu: "I'm worried that we might get hurt or D.O.O.M might escape."

Mackey: "Don't worry, we'll catch them.  After all, we have the 'touch'."


As the hours passed, the heroes searched the mall and shoppers began entering the mall.  By the time the clocks struck midnight, the mall was filled with shoppers who were eager to get their holiday shopping done.  Suddenly, Louis and Hayai encountered Bird Brain shoplifting diet pills from a vitamin shop.

Louis: "Freeze!"

Hayai: "Drop the diet pills!"

Bird Brain: "Ha! You T.U.F.F. agents think you can stop an endangered bird species like me? Think again!"

Bird Brain ran off with the diet pills he stole from the vitamin shop.  Louis and Hayai chased after him trying to keep him in their line of sight.  Next, Bird Brain spilled a bottle of diet pills onto the floor, causing Louis and Hayai to lose shoe traction.

Louis: "Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Hayai: "Uh, uh, whoa!"

Louis and Hayai slipped on the diet pills and fell on the floor.  Louis landed on his front side and Hayai landed on her back.

Louis: "Hayai, are you okay?"

Hayai: "I'm fine."

Louis and Hayai stood up from their fall.  Immediately Louis pulled his smart phone out of his pocket and called Kitty's cell number.  Kitty picked her phone up.

Kitty: "Hello?"

Louis: "Kitty, it's Louis.  I called to let you know that Hayai and I encountered Bird Brain shoplifting diet pills from a vitamin shop, but he spilled them on the floor, which caused us to slip and fall."

Kitty: "Ouch.  Are you two okay?"

Louis: "We're both fine."

Kitty: "Thanks for calling, Louis.  Whitnee and I will call you if something comes up with us."

Louis: "All right.  Call me later."

Kitty: "See you around."

Louis hung up and turned to Hayai.

Louis: "We can't just stand here like idiots; we have some criminals to catch!"

Hayai: "What do we have to lose?"

Louis and Hayai continued their search.


Meanwhile, Kitty and Whitnee encountered Katty and Yami stealing jewelry from a jeweler.

Kitty: "Hold it right there!"

Whitnee: "Stop right where you are!"

Katty: "Make me."

Yami: "I'd like to see you two try."

Katty and Yami ran off.  Kitty and Whitnee attempted to keep a visual on their evil sisters as they followed through the crowd of shoppers.  Suddenly, Whitnee and Kitty lost track of where Yami and Katty were going.

Kitty: "Where did they go off to?"

Whitnee: "I think we might have lost them."

Kitty: "We better look through the crowd."

Kitty and Whitnee searched the crowd of shopper until Yami and Katty appeared right where the heroes wanted them to be.  Afterward, the two female villains fled the scene and the two female crime fighters followed closely behind.


So the heroes and villains went into the mall for Dark Thursday.  Louis and Hayai encountered Bird Brain who shoplifted diet pills from a vitamin shop and spilled them resulting in them slipping.  Kitty and Whitnee encountered Yami and Katty stealing jewelry from a jeweler, but lost the line of sight in a crowd of shoppers.  Will the villains finally achieve success this year or will the heroes foil their plan?
